Event Description:
The Pocono Chamber of Commerce is excited to welcome The Kindness Project to the Poconos! The Kindness Project is a foster closet that provides support to foster families in the area by supplying clothing, furniture and other essential items, free of charge, to children in foster care.
Come out for a ribbon cutting ceremony along with their grand opening which will include food, fun, tours of the Kindness Cottage and raffle prizes!

They will also be running a 'Baby Shower Drive during the event, so if you would like to donate any NEW baby-related hygiene item, diapers, baby wipes, formula, burp cloths, teethers, baby toys, etc., that would be a huge help for us to stock up for all the little babies we see coming into care. Fill a new diaper bag if you want and bring it along!
