The Pocono Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce this year’s Annual Report to Business program that will take place virtually on Friday, January 22, 2021 at 9:00 AM. Through the duration of the event, attendees will hear from leaders of the Monroe County Business Community. This year’s speakers will provide important updates on healthcare, real-estate, tourism, and economic development. 

Attendees will be joined by all three Monroe County Commissioners (Chair – Sharon S. Laverdure, Vice-Chair – John R. Moyer, and Commissioner – John D. Christy) who will deliver their annual Commissioner’s Report. This year’s Commissioner’s Report will focus on the Covid-19 Cares Act Block Grants, Broadband Survey Results, the Courthouse Expansion and much, much more! All attendees are encouraged to submit questions for our commissioners upon their event registration, there will also be an opportunity to submit questions in real time during the live presentation. 

A Health Report will also be delivered by our county’s top healthcare leaders (Elizabeth Wise, President of Lehigh Valley Hospital – Pocono and Donald Seiple, President of St. Luke’s University Health Network Monroe Campus). Chuck Leonard, Executive Director of the Pocono Mountains Economic Development Corporation will report on the outlook of our economic development initiatives that affect the residents and business owners of Monroe County. Robert Starret, Broker and Owner of RE/MAX Commercial Partners will dive into Monroe County Commercial Real Estate and Chris Barrett, President and CEO of the Pocono Mountain Visitors Bureau will speak on the vital role that tourism plays in the continued growth of our county!
